Pocket Syncomatic supports two types of synchronization: Full and Quick.
Full Synchronization:
- All Pocket PC contacts are to be added to A-book. All A-book contacts are to be added to Pocket PC.
- While performing the Full Synchronization, Pocket Syncomatic looks for similar contacts, and asks how to process them.
- After the Full Synchronization is done, all contacts in A-book and on the Pocket PC are equal.
- You can choose which books in A-book you wish to synchronize.
- You can choose a book to store Pocket PC contacts in A-book.
Quick Synchronization:
- Pocket Syncomatic applies changes, made to contacts on Pocket PC, to the corresponding contacts in A-book. Changes, made to contacts in A-book, are applied to the corresponding contacts on Pocket PC.
- Pocket Syncomatic performs conflicts resolution. Conflict resolution is based on the user settings.
- You need to run Full Synchronization at least once before running Quick Synchronization.
